Description

Join the Take Me Home team! Walk/Run the 1K or 5k for the animals! (Or just raise funds and relax!)

What do you get when you combine a hard working rescue, with amazing volunteers and free animal medical care to families in need?  A ton of compassion and an exciting program called “Animal Kindness,” that’s what!

Many families living in low income areas cannot afford medical care, basic vaccinations, or spay/neuter surgeries for their companion animals.  Sadly, these animals continue to reproduce and end up dead, on the streets, or euthanized in the shelters.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Join the Take Me Home team!  Walk/Run the 5k for the animals!

Even if you don't live in LA, you can still participate by either donating to our Take Me Home lifesaving team, or be a virtual runner and create your own fundraising page. You do not need to attend the event to start your own fundraising team!

Who will benefit by our fundraising efforts?

Take Me Home is dedicating our exciting second annual Wig Out For Rescue 2014, to continue our  prevention/educational programs.  TMH is committed to keep animals in their homes and never to enter our already over-crowded shelter system.  Since spring time brings thousands of unwanted kittens and puppies, TMH sponsors and organizes free spay and neuter events throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.  Our team provides numerous spay and neuter clinics that includes free surgeries, free vaccinations, free microchips, free collars, free leashes, free ID tags, and free food for dogs and cats for the families of Boyle Heights Boys and Girls Clubs.  Additionally, the kids from the Club celebrated animal kindness, where our rescue continues to offer animal kindness educational/dog training programs.

Please watch our program videos below and join our crusade to save lives!

Create your fundraising page now!

This is your fundraising tool. By creating your own custom fundraising page, you will give your friends and family a place to give online and you can set your own fundraising goal. Your page will keep track of your incoming donations and show you who donated.

To get started, click on "Create Your Own Page" to the right. You will then follow the instructions to create your own custom fundraising page.  Don't forget to add your own pictures and story. We will send out an automatic "Thank You" email that will be sent to everyone who donates. Once the page is completed, spread the word by sharing your fundraising page in emails, facebook, twitter, etc, to make it easy for your friends and family to donate toward your goal.

Every penny raised saves the lives of dogs and cats because

every donation will provide lifesaving medical treatments and spay and neuter funding for the pets in  low income families!  Please help us save precious lives by asking your friends, family, and colleagues to participate (walk or run) in the event, donate funds toward your walk, or donate directly to the entire TMH team.  You can live anywhere to donate.

Wig Out participants will win prizes when they reach various donation levels.  Prizes will be announced soon!
